Something in the Water
I may be the only person in Fresno County hoping this drought lasts, because there is obviously something in the water that is killing our community. Tonight the State Center Community College District Board voted to amend the contract of Chancellor Dr. Deborah Blue that will result in her stepping down in June of this year and retiring from the system in June 2015. More often then not, I have friends, family, and colleagues from other parts of the state ask me….what’s up with Fresno? And this is yet another example.

Black Women Organized for Political Action, a non-profit 501(c)4 bi-partisan organization in partnership with the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce will host a forum for candidates in the June 2014 Primary Election.
